7 Simple Steps

Initial Enquiry

The first step towards your new garden is as simple as getting in touch. Either give us a call, fill out one of the forms here on our website or send us an email. We can then have a chat about your project to get an understanding of what you’d like to achieve and how best to proceed.

Initial Consultation

Following our initial conversation about your project, we would be happy to arrange a complimentary consultation where we would visit your garden and discuss the potential development in more detail. At this meeting we can assess your garden as it is, what changes you’d like to make and what might be possible to achieve.

You will also gain a deeper understanding of how we work and the various services that we offer. As a result of the meeting, you will receive a full written proposal for the various design packages that we offer, enabling you to choose an option which best suits your requirements.

Design and Development

Once you commission us for the design, we can start to generate the initial concept ideas for your new garden. This is a result of all the input you have given us, combined with the site survey and various aspects of the existing garden that need to be considered. We will then arrange a design meeting to review the concept plans and discuss which aspects you like and which ones may need refinement. With our 100% Satisfaction Guarantee you can rest assured that we will refine the design as many times as is necessary to ensure it is exactly right for you.

As we progress through the design process, the plans will evolve with more detail and description as well as planting and lighting plans with 3D computerised models and virtual walk round where required. With all this you will get a very clear idea of how your new garden will look and feel. Once you are completely happy with everything, we can approve the plans and you then receive full copies of the drawings, both digital and printed.

Appointing a Contractor

The advantage of having scale drawings for the project is that the landscaping contractors can provide accurate quotations for the build, ensuring you know exactly what to expect with regards to the construction phase as well as the finished layout and detailing of the elements within the design.

We are happy to work with a contractor of your choice, or, if you need some recommendations we can source landscapers who would be suitable for your project.

Implementing the Design

Following meticulous planning to prepare for the project, the construction of your garden can begin. This will involve a certain amount of clearing and digging out to ensure proper implementation of the foundations for your new garden. Once the ground works are complete the project will evolve through hard landscaping phases to soft landscaping with a final tidy up and snagging ready for completion. The vision will now have become a reality!

Aftercare Service

Following the completion of the design phase of your garden project, we will always be here for help, advice and guidance as it progresses through the next stages. A project management service is available, though a good landscaping contractor will be able to manage an organise every aspect of the build to ensure it runs smoothly and efficiently with the good communication through the process.

If you would like someone to look after your garden once the build is complete, keeping it looking at it’s best, we can also advise on this too.
